Proof of vaccination required prior to boarding both private and shared whale watches.

Rates

SeaSalt Charters‘ rates for private charters are based on a per trip basis, the maximum number of passengers is 6, this is a Coast Guard restriction, and it keeps the boat very comfortable.  So whether you come out by yourself or with 5 friends the price is the same.

As a result of many inquiries from people looking to share a private trip and the cost, whom we were usually unable to accommodate, we will now be offering split charters/public trips for whale watches.   We will need at least 4 people to leave the dock, as this will allow us to cover expenses.  Babies, and small children do count as 1 person, as per the Coast Guard.  If you do not see a scheduled public trip for the date you are interested in please contact us and we can set one up for you.

The whales of Cape Cod are typically much farther out from Provincetown than the fish, which means we will burn more fuel, which explains the higher rates.

Our online booking feature is working seamlessly and seems to be the most popular way of booking a trip, but please feel free to contact us to answer any questions and book the trip personally with me by email or phone.

Reserve your trip early as possible as whale watches are already being booked way in advance!!

Rates

Due to the sudden spike In fuel prices we have had to raise our rates this year. We have not Increased our rates directly proportionate to the rise in fuel prices, in hopes that the market may come down. In the event that the prices don't come down or continue to increase we may have to further increase our rates again next year.
Please understand that whatever price you book the trip for, it will be honored regardless of future rate changes.
